I am looking for mature profitable industrial businesses. Businesses that complement Southwest Calibration Service or Texas Fire and Communications will be considered no matter the size. Businesses outside of calibration/testing and low voltage installation/inspection/repair need to be stand-alone businesses with a layer of management other than the owner. I am open to business to business service, distribution, or manufacturing. My preference is for the business to be more than 10 years old and to have been classified as 'essential' during 2020.
Yes, I will consider buying property in addition to the business. Every situation is different and we can discuss what works best for you. I do search for investment properties in addition to small businesses.
It starts with an honest conversation. I will learn about your business, your goals, and what a successful trasition looks like for you. From there, we move through due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring - all with transparency and respect for what you have built.
Timelines vary, but a typical acquisition from initial conversation to close can take as little as 3-6 months. There are situations where it can take up to a year or a little more. I work at a pace that is comfortable for you and your business.
Absolutely. I believe that people are the most important asset in any business. My approach is to retain and empower the exisiting team, ensuring continuity and stability for employees and customers alike.
I fund acquisitions with my own money and I am the sole investor.
I own Southwest Calibration Service in Stafford, TX and Texas Fire and Communications in Beaumont, TX. I am currently searching for other opportunities. I also built a kitchen exhaust cleaning company before my energy career and sold it to finance my education.
I intend to continue the legacy that has brought the longstanding success you have realized. I am not a private equity company looking to resell your company later. I plan on holding all purchases for the long term and continue to build value for the company and opportunities for the employees.
